Although rare in comparison with museums that focus on (colonial) immigrant foods and cooking, museums that explore Native American foodways do exist. Under the aegis of the National Park Service, Arizona's Coronado National Memorial encourages school groups to experiment with the foodways of the Zuni, grinding corn with a stone mano and metate and tasting other indigenous foods.
